So it looks like I won't be on this afternoon after all. Apparently my mom is having back pain so I have to go work for her at the old job I thought I was done with.

I'm not bitter. Really. Okay, maybe a little.

I've been in a pissy mood all day and I have no idea why. I've been snapping at my parents every time they talk to me, and I chewed my dad out when I had to drive 25 miles to give him his extra truck keys after he locked his main ones in the truck at Menards ( Read more... )

But I have a really strong feeling that something bad is going to happen soon. There's this sense of subtle dread permeating my conscious mind, as well as my unconscious mind. I've had nightmares nearly every night for the past two weeks.

So not only is my car window stuck in the 'down' position, our utility room is flooded. Mom called me at work to tell me that a water pipe had busted and she was currently standing in "ankle deep water."
